The building's façade has a beautiful and remarkable gothic "quadrifora" original of the age, when the building was a patrician palace. Inside the Hotel, at the entrance, there is a stoned staircase that goes from the lobby to the second floor, once called "piano nobile", where there are some rooms. The intelligent restoration has effected a correct and balanced compromise between aesthetical demands and the non-renounced functional requirements, essential an hotel that wants to keep step with the times. The rooms are furnished with elegance and good taste: bright Murano Glass lamps, antique furniture, ceilings with frescoes or beams, with all comforts (private bathroom, cable TV, radio, direct dial telephone, mini-bar, air-conditioned). By Car or by train: To reach the Hotel Pausania you can take the public vaporetto ACTV line 1 to the stop of Ca' Rezzonico; you get off and follow the Calle Traghetto to the Campo San Barnaba and finally, following the canal (Rio San Barnaba) along the Fondamenta Gerardini for 50 meters, you will meet our Hotel. By plane from Venice Airport Marco Polo You can choose the better way : By water taxi directly to the Hotel: By water-public service Alilaguna to the Zattere and then walking for 10 minutes.
