	Introduction
Star Rating: Recently reviewed by the NEW YORK TIMES blog, this small and elegant family runned hotel, late 18th century furnished with Murano glass chandeliers and lead-latticed windows, is located in the very heart of Venice, only a few steps from Rialto Bridge and 50 meters from Grand Canal from which you can easely approach our "Residenza". Literally 50 meters from the Grand Canal, situated in the Rialto neighborhood, the hotel can easily be reached either on foot or using public transportation. Indeed, it is just a few steps away from one of the most popular places in the city, the Rialto market, where art and history commingle with the simplicity of daily life. From here, it is only five-minutes walk to such places as the Scuola Grande of San Rocco, the Basilica of the Frari, Ca Pesaro Modern Art Museum, as well as the Rialto Bridge and Campo San Polo which is an important venue during the Venice Carnival and during the Venice Film Festival (when the square is turned into an open-air cinema). But there are additional attractions beyond art: everyday Venetian life among small arts and crafts shops, fascinating voices and colors which make Venice such a unique city with no equals in the world.
